What SOISU is

SOISU is an Italian-design furniture studio with our own manufacturing in Mumbai and a flagship showroom in Prabhadevi. Every piece we sell is designed by Politecnico di Milano-trained designers, manufactured in our own facility, upholstered in either water-dyed full-grain Italian leather or Italian performance fabric (bouclé, velvet, textured weave), and delivered with installation across India.

We offer two paths: ready inventory (pieces dispatched from stock in 1–3 weeks) and custom orders (made-to-order in 90 days from first payment, with full configuration freedom on dimensions, material, colour, and finish). Most clients combine both — pulling from inventory for the items they want immediately and ordering custom for the pieces they want fitted to specific dimensions or finishes.

Our payment and order protocol

For custom orders: — Day 1: Order Confirmation PDF issued. Specs, dimensions, materials, price all locked. You sign to confirm. — Day 1–7: 70% deposit invoiced and received. Production starts. — Day 60: Photo inspection — frame and upholstery photos sent to you. If you prefer to physically inspect, you can visit our Bhiwandi facility by appointment. — Day 85–90: Pre-dispatch QC and final balance (30%) invoiced. Delivery and installation follow.

For ready inventory: — Order confirmed → 70% deposit → piece dispatched in 1–3 weeks → 30% on delivery.

The customer SOISU is built for

You bought a premium Mumbai apartment — Ten BKC, Worli, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Bandra, Crown — between ₹8 crore and ₹25 crore. You want furniture that holds up to that scale of investment.

You want Italian materials and Italian design — but you are sceptical of "imported from Italy" claims and not interested in customs delays or international warranty correspondence.

You are willing to wait 90 days for a fully custom configuration, or 1–3 weeks for ready inventory pieces.

You value a written order PDF with itemised data sheets over a low headline number with vague specs.

You want made-to-order configuration freedom — material choice, dimension freedom, finish freedom — within an Italian-design framework.

Your budget is ₹13 lakh+ for a 3 BHK furnishing, scaling up for larger layouts.

The customer SOISU is not for

You want all furniture by next week. Custom takes 90 days. Ready inventory takes 1–3 weeks. If you have a deadline tighter than 1 week, retail-floor-stock vendors are the right answer.

You want a recognisable brand name — Cassina, B&B Italia, Minotti. We are not a luxury Italian brand; we are an Italian-design studio with our own design language. If brand IP is your priority, buy from the brand.

You are furnishing a rental property or service apartment. Custom doesn't make economic sense at the use case. Bhiwandi-generic or mid-tier Mumbai vendors will serve you better.

You want a "design my whole interior" turnkey service. We are a furniture studio, not an interior design firm. We work with interior designers and architects; we don't replace them. If you need a designer, we can introduce you to studios we have completed multiple projects with.

What working with us actually looks like

First contact is usually on WhatsApp or a showroom visit. We respond same-day, set up a 30-minute consultation at the showroom, walk through your floor plan and material preferences. Within 48 hours we send a written itemised order confirmation PDF.

If you sign, we invoice the 70% deposit. For custom orders, production starts and you receive Day 60 photos with the option of an in-person Bhiwandi visit. For ready inventory, dispatch is in 1–3 weeks. Final 30% balance is invoiced before delivery. Installation is handled by SOISU's white-glove team.

After delivery, we are accountable in writing. 5-year structural warranty. Annual leather conditioning service for the first 3 years (included). Real phone numbers and a real showroom — no chatbot triage.
